Deep crimson. Very sweet round, ripe nose. Almost gamey. Not 100% classic but certainly nice, quite delicate weight then fine tannins.
Delicate mocha over black fruit. Soft and smooth, quite light on the mid palate. Fine, dry tannins give an elegant finish.
An earthy, mature nose with a touch of ripe plum. This is complex and savoury and the time in bottle has added layers of leather and mushroom whilst keeping a bright core of fruit. The palate is smooth, soft and mature - perfect for drinking now. There is a blend of mature forest floor and crunchy red cherries, balanced by acidity. The tannins are rounded and have melted into the wine, leaving a smooth, complex and moreish finish.
Complex, opulent, plummy nose. Real dimension. Stunning voluptuousness, with coffee, supple tannins and loads of tempting flavour. Utterly winning and creamy. Drink 2010-2018.
