An attractively fresh and ultra-floral nose reflects notes of various white orchard fruit, petrol, citrus peel and an all but invisible whiff of oak. There is a gorgeously refined mouthfeel to the cuts-like-a-knife, intense and beguilingly delicious medium weight flavors that culminate in a mineral-driven, very dry and saline finale that delivers outstanding persistence. This is like rolling small pebbles around in the mouth and is a wine that should generously reward extended keeping.
A bright cheerful pale yellow, with coconut on the nose. Some bright yellow fruit behind. There is good intensity if not quite the finesse of the very best. Just a little monochrome with fresh yellow plum fruit. The oak stays prominent but there is enough fruit volume to match. Balanced and very agreeable.
